Like I said to Ann P., "You already are homeschooling!" Don't sell yourself short...God has placed everything in you to teach those precious little ones...He fills in the gaps. Isabella is going into 4th grade and her test scores are a result of His blessing my obedience, not my amazing job of homeschooling. When I began, the Lord said, "Invest and I will bless" and as always He is true to His word.

It is so awesome to see my "mommy group" friends moving into homeschooling their soon to be preschoolers and remembering them as infants on my den floor.

Bekah!!!!!!!!!! =) I was thinking about you and your family the other day and was reminded of when you got to keep us while my mom was on a mission trip. I was thinking about how you showed us how your nose ring worked and how much fun we had swimming in the pool.
I suddenly remembered that you might not have seen me the past year......Guess what?!?!?!?!?! I have a nose ring!!!!!!!!!! =)

I have that book and I love it! My favorite was the food fight idea. You give your kids a set money and they have to decide how to spend it at the store on food that would be good for a food fight. The reward for all of the planning and executing is a food fight with the foods they picked and prepared. So much fun:)

Not sure who wrote this...JM or Bekah. Either way, I'll write this. Having lived in another country, I can say this. You minister the same way in another country...it just seems to stand out more b/c you are dealing w/ another culture and that really captures people's interest more. Being a mom, I found myself doing a lot of the same things there that I do here...talking to other moms, playing with kids, getting to know my neighbors, etc. My husband taught & preached, which is what he does here. Same thing, different location. We used to tell people that we didn't really think it was any big deal living in another country b/c we were just doing there what we did here. And there ARE people in the States that haven't heard the Gospel. I'm not sure if I'm helping or stating the obvious by writing this, but just stay on course and keep listening to the heart of God for where He wants you to be. Do get frustrated in the little things.
